Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of mylocaldrop.com and the MyLocalDrop advertising service. By submitting an inquiry or purchasing a placement, you agree to them.

The service

MyLocalDrop sells advertising placements in shared direct-mail pieces delivered to residential neighborhoods in the Reno, Nevada area. Each mailing zone carries one business per category, and placements are sold per mailing.

Availability and exclusivity

• Submitting the availability form does not reserve a spot. A category is reserved only when we confirm it to you in writing and payment is completed.
• Category exclusivity applies to one mailing zone for the mailings you have purchased. It does not extend to other zones or future mailings unless agreed in writing.
• Category boundaries (for example, where "handyman" ends and "plumber" begins) are decided by us in good faith.

Payment and refunds

• Payment is due before your placement goes to print. Payments are processed by Stripe.
• If we cannot run your placement as agreed (for example, your zone's mailing is canceled), you receive a full refund for that mailing.
• You may cancel for a full refund any time before your mailing goes to print. Once a mailing is at the printer, that mailing's fee is non-refundable, because the cost has been incurred on your behalf.

Your ad content

• You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your ad content, including any offers, prices, and license numbers it contains.
• You confirm you have the rights to any logos, images, and text you supply, and you grant us permission to print and distribute them in the mailing.
• We may decline content that is unlawful, misleading, or a poor fit for a household mailing.

What we do not guarantee

We commit to printing and mailing your placement to the agreed zone. We do not guarantee any particular number of calls, leads, or sales, and delivery dates may shift by a few days due to printing and postal schedules.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the mailing that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in Washoe County, Nevada.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here applies to purchases made after its "last updated" date.
